Meet the Maker Weekends

Dear Artists,

Our art supply thrift store is looking for a small group of artists to participate in a rotating Meet the Maker Weekends program.

 

Selected artists will host the shop one weekend per month on a rotating schedule. During your weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to sell your work, meet customers, and connect with other creatives in a welcoming community art space.

 

What Artist Hosts Do

 

• Welcome customers and help create a friendly creative environment

• Handle store purchases and operate the checkout during your hosted weekend

• Share and sell your own artwork or handmade items while you are present

• Promote your hosted weekend to your audience

 

 

About the Artwork

 

Because our shop focuses on accessible and affordable art supplies, we are looking for artists whose work fits a similar spirit. Small works, prints, stickers, handmade goods, and other items that are easy for customers to purchase are ideal. You'll have 1 six foot table to sell from.

 

Items typically sell best in the $5–$35 range, so artists whose work fits within this price range are encouraged to apply.

We hope to select four artists who will rotate weekends throughout the months and who can commit to a 3 month rotation.
